In addition to being the first company to introduce light steel roof trusses in Indonesia, PT. JAINDO METAL INDUSTRIES was also the first company in the country to introduce “PrefabHouse”.
Established in December 1977 under the name PT. DJASA METAL WORKS, the company officially changed its name to PT. JAINDO METAL INDUSTRIES in March 1981. The company is located at Jl. Soekarno Hatta No. 227, Bandung. It operates in the building materials industry, manufacturing products made from light steel such as billboard components, curtain rails, corrugated aluminum roof sheets, and others.
In response to the growing demands of Indonesia’s property industry, the company focused its business on metal framing systems and metal building coverings made from thin yet highly durable steel sheets, marketed under the following brands:
- JSTEEL Products: Roof trusses, floor framing systems, wall framing systems, and prefab house framing.
- URS Products: Metal wall cladding, metal roofing systems, louvers, and ventilators.
- UNICO Products: Metal ceiling frames, partition frames, and Keystone Plates.
In 1997, PT. JAINDO METAL INDUSTRIES became the first company in Indonesia to introduce “PrefabHouse” to the property industry, including its implementation in mining housing projects using JSTEEL products.
JSTEEL continuously innovates and develops new products. PT. JAINDO METAL INDUSTRIES obtained ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification in February 2009. Its products continue to evolve in line with advancing technology and industry requirements. To date, the company has produced a wide range of high-quality light steel products, offering complete solutions for comprehensive building construction systems.
PT. JAINDO METAL INDUSTRIES is also actively involved as a technical team member in the development of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for Cold-Formed Steel Structural Design.
